Your tendency to ensure you stay on task and effectively complete projects is a positive attribute. However, it is important to not disregard the necessity of recovery time. Over-scheduling work and deadlines could interfere with your overall health, and in turn, your productivity and quality of work. You tend to have few if any, issues in terms of delivery or completion of work. Try to ensure this does not come as a result of sacrificing necessary downtime.

  • Do you sacrifice your self-care to deliver on goals and tasks?
  • Are you often skipping physical health priorities to deliver?

What does a balanced score mean?

You are able to manage your time well and stay on task, though may sometimes need prompting to begin or resume a task.

If you find you have difficulty staying motivated to complete a task, consider "temptation bundling". For example, set a goal of completing half of the report before you take a break, or when working on menial tasks, listening to a book on tape. You may require the occasional prompt to start or resume their work with slight reminders or nudges. Clear deadlines could be highly beneficial to you.

When facing an in-depth project, consider starting by breaking it down into smaller tasks. This will allow some flexibility in how you approach the project, as well as breaking an otherwise daunting task into more manageable pieces. You will have trouble starting on or engaging with projects, try to keep the big picture in mind while working on more bite-sized pieces, a "checklist" may help you to organize your workload.
