Task-oriented leadership is a behavioral approach that revolves around the proficiency of getting tasks done within set deadlines. This can be effective in industries where a high standard of quality is also required.

The only focus in this style of leadership is the end-goal and achieving success by reaching it. However, this means that leaders can be prone to overlook their employee's well-being and happiness, focusing instead on efficiency and requirements.

The ability to understand the resources required, delegate and split work accordingly, while also prioritizing effectively, are core components of task-oriented leadership. Roles which provide employees with clear structure and management are ideal for this style of leadership.
