Tolerance can be associated with “putting up with” a specific behaviour or person, or the ability to deal with hardship in life, the endurance of pain or a tough time can require a great deal of tolerance.

Tolerance within the workplace, however, encompasses much more. It includes openness, sharing of ideas and information, or demonstrating a willingness to let everyone have their say, listening to every perspective can illustrate tolerance.
